Comprehensive Pipe Replacement & Repair in the Greater Fort Worth Area
If you’re dealing with aging galvanized pipes, ongoing leaks, or inconsistent water pressure, Master Repair Plumbing is here to help. Since 1983, we’ve proudly served Fort Worth, North Richland Hills, Haltom City, and nearby communities. With over 40 years of hands-on experience, we use modern tools and proven techniques to complete piping and repiping projects with as little disruption to your home as possible.
We also provide flexible financing solutions and payment plans to make your plumbing project more manageable.
Our Approach to Piping & Repiping
Every property is different, so we evaluate each plumbing system individually. We begin by reviewing your layout, existing pipe materials, and any symptoms you’ve noticed—such as reduced pressure or visible corrosion. Using advanced diagnostic and leak detection equipment, we identify problem areas while minimizing impact on walls, floors, and daily routines. Our focus is on delivering efficient, targeted solutions without unnecessary disruption.
For most projects, we start with pressure testing and a thorough visual inspection to determine whether a full repipe or a partial replacement is needed. We then plan pipe routes, review access points with you, and identify areas where we can use existing spaces—like closets or chases—to reduce cutting into finished surfaces. During the job, we protect flooring and furniture, keep work areas contained, and test each section as we go to ensure everything is working properly.
Because many Fort Worth homes include a mix of older and updated plumbing, we also ensure new piping integrates smoothly with existing fixtures, shutoff valves, and appliances. We label new valves and explain their use so you can quickly isolate sections if needed. After completion, we perform a full system check, flush the lines, and confirm consistent pressure and temperature throughout your home.
What Is Repiping & When Is It Needed?
Repiping involves replacing outdated or damaged plumbing lines throughout a property. It is commonly required in homes built before the 1990s, where materials like galvanized steel or polybutylene were widely used.
You may want to consider repiping if you’re noticing:
- Frequent leaks or pipe failures
- Low or inconsistent water pressure
- Discolored or rust-tinted water
- Visible corrosion on exposed pipes
- Recurring plumbing issues despite repairs
While localized repairs can address isolated issues, older systems with widespread wear often benefit more from a complete repipe for long-term reliability.
Repiping for Older Homes in Fort Worth
Many homes across the Greater Fort Worth area—especially those built decades ago—have plumbing systems that are no longer suited for modern usage. At Master Repair Plumbing, we’ve completed repiping projects in everything from mid-century ranch homes to older pier-and-beam properties. We understand the challenges of working with slab foundations and crawlspaces and tailor our methods to fit your home.
In established neighborhoods, older galvanized or cast-iron pipes are often still hidden behind walls or beneath slabs. Over time, these materials can narrow due to mineral buildup, leading to noisy plumbing, uneven temperatures, and inconsistent flow. When evaluating these properties, we consider past renovations, additions, and repairs to design a system that works seamlessly with your home’s structure.
For older homes, we also plan around your daily routine. We coordinate work in phases to limit downtime in kitchens, bathrooms, and laundry areas. When necessary, we schedule projects over multiple days to ensure essential areas remain usable. If your home features custom finishes or unique materials, we take extra precautions to preserve them and clearly explain any limited access points required.
As a locally rooted, family-operated business, we prioritize service over sales—offering clear timelines, open communication, and clean, careful workmanship.
Materials We Work With
We install high-quality, code-compliant piping materials selected for durability and performance:
- PEX (cross-linked polyethylene). Flexible, corrosion-resistant, and efficient for installation
- Copper. Durable and heat-resistant, ideal for high-demand systems
- CPVC. A budget-friendly option suitable for both hot and cold water lines
We’ll guide you through the advantages of each option based on your home, usage, and budget.
One-Stop Plumbing with Handyman Support
Repiping projects often involve more than just plumbing. That’s why we coordinate with skilled handyman professionals to handle follow-up work such as drywall repair, painting, trim replacement, and more. If your project involves insurance, we also assist with communication and coordination to simplify the process.
Our goal is to manage the entire project for you—from initial diagnosis through final restoration—so you’re not left juggling multiple contractors. Once plumbing work is completed and tested, our partners help restore affected areas, getting your home back to normal as quickly as possible. This streamlined approach is especially helpful for real estate transactions and rental properties where timing is critical.
When insurance is involved, we document our findings and repair plans in a format adjusters understand. This helps reduce delays, streamline approvals, and clarify what portions of the work may be covered. By handling both plumbing and related repairs, we make the process more efficient and less stressful.
Why Choose Master Repair Plumbing?
When selecting a company for a major plumbing project, how the work is handled matters just as much as the final outcome. With over four decades of continuous service in the DFW area, our team understands local construction styles, slab foundation challenges, and the impact of regional conditions on plumbing systems. This experience allows us to identify issues early and recommend practical, long-lasting solutions.
We also prioritize clear communication and respect for your property. From the initial visit, we explain our findings in simple terms, outline your options, and answer any questions about timing and expectations. Our team schedules appointments that work for you and arrives prepared to complete the job efficiently.
Because we coordinate with handyman services and insurance professionals when needed, you don’t have to manage the project alone. We stay involved from start to finish, ensuring a smooth process and consistent updates along the way. This combination of experience, organization, and attention to detail is why many homeowners and property managers in Fort Worth and surrounding areas continue to trust us for repiping services.

"I just took a nice long shower in our bathroom that recently had a stopped sewer line, and wanted to thank Mike at Master Repair for his hard work. Fortunately, he was able to come out the same day we called! The stoppage ended up being 100' from the city sewer cleanout, and it took some back and forth with a camera and cable to clear it. But Mike was tenacious and patient. Plus, he was such a nice guy! He even gave us an estimate for the sewer line replacement we'll need eventually (old clay pipe + tree roots, sigh). He says he doesn't read these, but I hope someone else in the office passes the message along."

" Quick & Competent! When my home insurance adjuster learned I used Master he replied 'Oh! Master Plumbing! Did someone refer you? They are the best around and who I use personally at my own home.' That spoke volumes to me and it's good to now have a plumber on my list of trusted service companies. "

"We called Master Repair out to fix a leak we had in the wall between our house and our outside faucet. They let us know when they were coming and they showed up 15 minutes early. They were very professional and explained each step they went through. They left to get a part but came back quickly and our repair was done in two hours. I was very pleased that they cleaned up the area and except for the water you couldn't even tell they had been there. The price was extremely affordable and I have called them to return and take care of a smaller problem inside. I would highly recommend them for their professionalism and cost."

" Chad from Master Repair Plumbing is the man. I had another plumbing company come out to take a look at a leak that was coming out of the exterior of my house below the kitchen sink between the slab and the bricks. This company said it was a leak in the slab and quoted me $10k to jackhammer through and make the repair after charging me a super expensive diagnosis fee. My insurance thought that quote was high for that job so they connected me to Master Repair Plumbing for a second opinion. Chad came out and quickly diagnosed that the problem was a leak *above* the slab and made the repair on the spot for the same amount as the first company's diagnosis fee(which was entirely coincidental). He also told me that if I did actually have the leak in the slab where the first company thought it was, Master Repair Plumbing would've charged less than HALF of what the first company was going to charge. I asked the first company for a refund and they wanted to send their people back out again because they had a hard time believing the fix was that simple. So I scheduled Chad specifically to come out at the same time they were coming out to have everyone on the same page. Chad performed a static water test in front of the other company at my house, explained how he found the problem, and proved how they had misdiagnosed the problem which ultimately saved me thousands. The other company admitted their error and I'm getting a refund for their expensive misdiagnosis fee. If you have a slab leak, want someone to explain in detail what they're seeing, show you, prove it with a static water test, AND not be afraid to come out again to back up their work in front of another company, give your business to Master Repair Plumbing. They are honest and won't gouge you. "
