If your drains are slow, making gurgling sounds, or completely backed up, you are not alone. Drain problems are common throughout Fort Worth, Haltom City, North Richland Hills, and surrounding Greater Fort Worth communities. At Master Repair Plumbing, we’ve been helping customers restore proper drainage since 1983 with licensed, insured service and a team focused on doing the job right the first time. Same-day service may be available depending on scheduling.
Licensed Drain Repair Company
When drains start acting up, quick fixes often don’t last. With over 40 years of experience and modern diagnostic equipment, we handle everything from simple clogs to complex sewer line issues. Whether it’s a kitchen sink that won’t drain or a slow bathroom line upstairs, we carefully identify the root cause without unnecessary disruption to your property.
What we handle:
- Clogged kitchen, bathroom, and utility drains
- Frequent backups and slow drainage issues
- Foul odors coming from drains or cleanouts
- Main sewer line blockages
- Tree root intrusion
- Cracked or leaking drain lines
As a drain repair company serving Fort Worth, we frequently work with older properties where outdated piping and shifting clay soil contribute to recurring issues. Unlike general service providers, our team understands local infrastructure, building codes, and city permitting requirements for larger repairs. When main line problems occur, we coordinate with Fort Worth inspection standards to ensure all work meets compliance.
Drain Repair That Fits Your Schedule
We understand that drain issues can be disruptive and messy. That’s why we use advanced tools like video inspections and hydro jetting to reduce unnecessary digging and avoid involving extra contractors whenever possible.
Modern Methods, Proven Reliability
We make use of several proven methods to deliver the best possible results on every job:
- Advanced diagnostics: We begin with video camera inspections to accurately locate blockages and internal pipe issues before recommending repairs.
- Hydro jetting for blockage removal: For tough clogs or heavy buildup, high-pressure water jetting clears pipes thoroughly without damaging most existing plumbing systems.
- Non-invasive leak detection: Acoustic equipment and pressure testing help us pinpoint leaks precisely for efficient drain repair in Fort Worth homes and businesses.
- Customized process for each property: Every property is different, so we adjust our methods based on pipe age, layout, and previous repairs—especially in older Fort Worth neighborhoods.
- Trenchless repair solutions: When suitable, we offer trenchless pipe lining or spot repairs to avoid major excavation and preserve landscaping and flooring.
- Step-by-step communication: We keep you informed at every stage so you understand the process and available repair options.
Our drain repair process in Fort Worth always begins with a detailed inspection using video equipment to locate hidden issues inside the line. For severe blockages, hydro jetting is often used to remove buildup safely and effectively. If damage is detected, we use pressure testing and acoustic tools to accurately identify the problem area, helping reduce unnecessary digging and cost. Each repair is tailored to the property’s age, structure, and prior plumbing work, which is especially important in historic Fort Worth neighborhoods.
If a long-term solution is needed, we may recommend trenchless lining or sectional repairs to minimize disruption to your yard and interior spaces. This ensures your plumbing is restored while keeping your property as intact as possible.
Signs of Drain Problems
Drain issues often develop gradually, showing early warning signs before a full blockage occurs. Fort Worth’s climate and aging plumbing systems can make pipes more vulnerable to buildup, corrosion, and root intrusion.
If you notice:
- Slow drainage from multiple fixtures
- Unpleasant odors coming from drains
- Wet or damp areas in your yard or slab
- Water backing up into tubs, sinks, or floor drains
If you notice any of these symptoms, it’s best to have a professional inspect the system early to prevent more serious and costly repairs.

"I just took a nice long shower in our bathroom that recently had a stopped sewer line, and wanted to thank Mike at Master Repair for his hard work. Fortunately, he was able to come out the same day we called! The stoppage ended up being 100' from the city sewer cleanout, and it took some back and forth with a camera and cable to clear it. But Mike was tenacious and patient. Plus, he was such a nice guy! He even gave us an estimate for the sewer line replacement we'll need eventually (old clay pipe + tree roots, sigh). He says he doesn't read these, but I hope someone else in the office passes the message along."

" Quick & Competent! When my home insurance adjuster learned I used Master he replied 'Oh! Master Plumbing! Did someone refer you? They are the best around and who I use personally at my own home.' That spoke volumes to me and it's good to now have a plumber on my list of trusted service companies. "

"We called Master Repair out to fix a leak we had in the wall between our house and our outside faucet. They let us know when they were coming and they showed up 15 minutes early. They were very professional and explained each step they went through. They left to get a part but came back quickly and our repair was done in two hours. I was very pleased that they cleaned up the area and except for the water you couldn't even tell they had been there. The price was extremely affordable and I have called them to return and take care of a smaller problem inside. I would highly recommend them for their professionalism and cost."

" Chad from Master Repair Plumbing is the man. I had another plumbing company come out to take a look at a leak that was coming out of the exterior of my house below the kitchen sink between the slab and the bricks. This company said it was a leak in the slab and quoted me $10k to jackhammer through and make the repair after charging me a super expensive diagnosis fee. My insurance thought that quote was high for that job so they connected me to Master Repair Plumbing for a second opinion. Chad came out and quickly diagnosed that the problem was a leak *above* the slab and made the repair on the spot for the same amount as the first company's diagnosis fee(which was entirely coincidental). He also told me that if I did actually have the leak in the slab where the first company thought it was, Master Repair Plumbing would've charged less than HALF of what the first company was going to charge. I asked the first company for a refund and they wanted to send their people back out again because they had a hard time believing the fix was that simple. So I scheduled Chad specifically to come out at the same time they were coming out to have everyone on the same page. Chad performed a static water test in front of the other company at my house, explained how he found the problem, and proved how they had misdiagnosed the problem which ultimately saved me thousands. The other company admitted their error and I'm getting a refund for their expensive misdiagnosis fee. If you have a slab leak, want someone to explain in detail what they're seeing, show you, prove it with a static water test, AND not be afraid to come out again to back up their work in front of another company, give your business to Master Repair Plumbing. They are honest and won't gouge you. "

They came the next day and worked efficiently to get to the pipe under the floor and repair it. Jack and his team are experts! They understood how we needed to get this fixed as quickly as possible.
