Comprehensive Drain Cleaning Services

Cutting-Edge Tools, Down-to-Earth Service

Our drain cleaning process is built on accuracy, not guesswork. We use advanced diagnostic equipment to locate the source of the issue—whether it’s buildup, a blockage, or tree root intrusion—and apply the most effective solution. Depending on the situation, this may include traditional snaking, hydro jetting for a deeper clean, or another non-invasive method that restores proper flow without unnecessary disruption.

We focus on solving the problem efficiently, without unnecessary upselling or complicated recommendations—just reliable service and clean, functioning drains.

Drain Problems We Handle

Whether you’re dealing with a single clogged drain or multiple fixtures backing up, we can diagnose the issue and resolve it before it becomes more serious.

Common drain cleaning calls we get:

  • Shower and bathtub clogs caused by hair and soap buildup
  • Slow-draining laundry room lines
  • Blocked bathroom sinks
  • Floor drain issues in garages or basements
  • Gurgling sounds or unpleasant odors from drains
  • Recurring clogs that keep coming back

We also handle main sewer line blockages and can determine when a more extensive repair may be required. If the issue goes beyond cleaning, we explain your options clearly—without pressure.

Drain Cleaning vs. Drain Clearing: What’s the Difference?

Many homeowners use “drain cleaning” and “drain clearing” interchangeably, but they are not the same. Drain clearing focuses on removing an immediate blockage—using tools like plungers, augers, or snakes to restore flow. While effective for sudden clogs, this method often leaves behind residue inside the pipe.

Drain cleaning goes further by using high-pressure water or specialized equipment to remove buildup from the entire pipe interior. This helps prevent future clogs and keeps water flowing smoothly over time.In older Fort Worth homes, where cast-iron or clay piping is common, thorough cleaning can make a significant difference. Mineral buildup from hard water and shifting soil conditions often contribute to recurring issues. By evaluating your pipe material, system layout, and service history, we recommend the most effective approach for long-term results.

Our Drain Cleaning Process

We follow a structured and efficient process designed to respect your time and deliver lasting results.

Before starting, we review your symptoms and plumbing history. Many homes in Fort Worth and Tarrant County include a mix of older and newer piping materials, so understanding the system helps us choose the right solution and avoid repeat issues.

Step 1: Inspection

We use camera systems or diagnostic tools to locate the blockage and determine the underlying cause.

Step 2: Solution Selection

Based on our findings, we choose the most effective method—whether that’s snaking, hydro jetting, or another targeted approach.

Step 3: Drain Cleaning

We thoroughly clean the affected lines, restoring proper drainage without damaging your pipes or surrounding areas.

Step 4: Final Check

We verify that everything is working correctly, clean up the workspace, and leave your property in the same condition we found it.

What Makes Our Drain Cleaning Services Different

We’ve earned our reputation across Fort Worth and surrounding communities by delivering dependable, respectful, and straightforward plumbing services.

Our deep understanding of local soil and water conditions sets us apart. The region’s shifting clay soil can affect pipe alignment over time, making accurate diagnostics essential for lasting results. With advanced tools and local experience, we identify the root cause of drainage problems and help prevent them from returning.

Frequently Asked Questions

How often should I schedule drain cleaning in Fort Worth?

White lines icon inside a black square on a transparent background.
Most households benefit from having their drains professionally cleaned about once a year to reduce buildup and prevent blockages. If your home has aging pipes, nearby tree roots, or ongoing slow drainage issues, scheduling service more frequently can help maintain proper flow and avoid recurring problems.

Can weather or soil conditions in Fort Worth impact my drains?

Yes, the clay-heavy soil common in Fort Worth can expand and contract with changes in weather, such as heavy rainfall or dry conditions. This movement can shift or misalign pipes, creating spots where debris collects. Because of this, routine maintenance plays an important role in keeping your drainage system functioning properly.

What should I avoid putting down my drains to prevent clogs?

To reduce the risk of clogs, avoid sending items like wipes, grease, coffee grounds, and large food particles down your drains. These materials can build up over time and are especially difficult to clear from older or frequently used plumbing systems.

We are so satisfied with our experience

" We are so satisfied with our experience with Masters Repair Plumbing. We didn’t have an easy task. They didn’t bat an eye, they came in, assessed the work, gave us a very fair bid and were able to complete the work in a very timely manner. The staff was very nice and professional. We are extremely pleased with their work and professionalism. "

He was able to come out the same day we called!

"I just took a nice long shower in our bathroom that recently had a stopped sewer line, and wanted to thank Mike at Master Repair for his hard work. Fortunately, he was able to come out the same day we called! The stoppage ended up being 100' from the city sewer cleanout, and it took some back and forth with a camera and cable to clear it. But Mike was tenacious and patient. Plus, he was such a nice guy! He even gave us an estimate for the sewer line replacement we'll need eventually (old clay pipe + tree roots, sigh). He says he doesn't read these, but I hope someone else in the office passes the message along."

Quick & competent!

" Quick & Competent! When my home insurance adjuster learned I used Master he replied 'Oh! Master Plumbing! Did someone refer you? They are the best around and who I use personally at my own home.' That spoke volumes to me and it's good to now have a plumber on my list of trusted service companies. "

Our repair was done in two hours

"We called Master Repair out to fix a leak we had in the wall between our house and our outside faucet. They let us know when they were coming and they showed up 15 minutes early. They were very professional and explained each step they went through. They left to get a part but came back quickly and our repair was done in two hours. I was very pleased that they cleaned up the area and except for the water you couldn't even tell they had been there. The price was extremely affordable and I have called them to return and take care of a smaller problem inside. I would highly recommend them for their professionalism and cost."

Ultimately saved me thousands

" Chad from Master Repair Plumbing is the man. I had another plumbing company come out to take a look at a leak that was coming out of the exterior of my house below the kitchen sink between the slab and the bricks. This company said it was a leak in the slab and quoted me $10k to jackhammer through and make the repair after charging me a super expensive diagnosis fee. My insurance thought that quote was high for that job so they connected me to Master Repair Plumbing for a second opinion. Chad came out and quickly diagnosed that the problem was a leak *above* the slab and made the repair on the spot for the same amount as the first company's diagnosis fee(which was entirely coincidental). He also told me that if I did actually have the leak in the slab where the first company thought it was, Master Repair Plumbing would've charged less than HALF of what the first company was going to charge. I asked the first company for a refund and they wanted to send their people back out again because they had a hard time believing the fix was that simple. So I scheduled Chad specifically to come out at the same time they were coming out to have everyone on the same page. Chad performed a static water test in front of the other company at my house, explained how he found the problem, and proved how they had misdiagnosed the problem which ultimately saved me thousands. The other company admitted their error and I'm getting a refund for their expensive misdiagnosis fee. If you have a slab leak, want someone to explain in detail what they're seeing, show you, prove it with a static water test, AND not be afraid to come out again to back up their work in front of another company, give your business to Master Repair Plumbing. They are honest and won't gouge you. "

You are in good hands with this company!

" We called several companies for a slab leak problem with our hot water line. We decided to use Master Repair Plumbing due to reasonable prices and their ability to quickly assess and diagnose the problem. They came the next day and worked efficiently to get to the pipe under the floor and repair it. Jack and his team are experts! They understood how we needed to get this fixed as quickly as possible. Being without hot water for several days while getting estimates from different companies was no fun! Thank you Jack and team for getting this done! If you have a plumbing issue, you are in good hands with this company! "
